Originally started as glass processing company, Lisec has turned into one of the world’s largest manufacturers of high-tech products for the flat glass industry (insulating glass/tempering technology/glass processing etc.) in the last few decades. Their 40-year experience in the field of flat glass, machinery construction and insulating glass production in combination with intensive research and development as well as a global consulting and service network stand for high tech, know-how and quality made in Austria.

In the mid 1990s, Lisec established a new site in Seitenstetten (Austria), investing in an automatic 4-aisle small parts warehouse for production and spare parts. By 2008, the company’s headcount had quadrupled and the demands on the out-of-date intra-logistics solution have changed considerably. That's why Lisec decided to modernise and enlarge the existing solution with TGW.
