Weidmüller’s existing, fully automatic distribution centre equipped with extensive TGW storage and conveyor system is currently being extended considerably, adding a fully automatic, robot controlled empty tote palletising system. In autumn 2009 TGW will install another 5 Commissioner automatic storage/retrieval machines as dispatch buffers, providing for a sequenced retrieval of large volume orders to 10 new workstations. These extensions permit Weidmüller to optimally cope with the increasing requirements in its packing area.
