Goods Receiving
Incoming goods from a supplier are identified in the goods receiving area and compared to the orders in the ERP system. With logistics processes designed by TGW goods are immediately available for further material requirement planning.
Warehousing
Depending on their volume, weight or dynamics, the goods will be temporarily stored in a fully automated warehouse for totes, cartons, trays, or pallets after the goods receiving process. CI_LOG, the SCM software by TGW, supports all types of manually operated or automated storage systems.
Order Picking
For the staging of goods for dispatch or the production supply the goods are retrieved from the different storage areas and picked relating to the orders. Automated or semi-automated picking solutions with ergonomic workstations help boosting the picking performance and eliminating picking errors.
Dispatch
Order consignments that have been consolidated from the different storage areas are temporarily stored on staging areas for packaging. The real-time order combination guarantees an optimum utilisation of the storage space. The integrated goods traceability serves as an early warning system for backorders.
