INCOMING GOODS ARE IDENTIFIED AND INSPECTED

Incoming goods from a supplier are identified in the goods receiving area by means of delivery notes and compared to the orders in the ERP system.

At this point TGW's CI_LOG software suite can already recognise, whether the goods are in backlog. In conventional logistics solutions goods are not available for further material requirement planning before they are entered into the system.

Incoming goods are often repacked into other bins before their further processing. They have to pass the incoming goods inspection or are prepared for storage.

INTERNAL TRANSPORT CAN BE PAPERLESS

Having compared the orders in the ERP system the goods receipt records are transmitted online to the Warehouse Management System of the CI_LOG Software Suite. At this point CI_LOG can already recognise, whether the goods are in backlog. CI_LOG will then assume the entire control of the internal material flow.

By means of the parameterisable target control and on the basis of predefined strategies the goods can simply and safely be transported to the subsequent processing zones. Internal transport can be effected totally paperless.

INCOMING GOODS PROCESSING: QUALITY ASSURANCE FOR YOUR WAREHOUSE

  CI_LOG supports the entire incoming goods inspection with different functions such as: inspection requirements and work place maintenance, quality assurance status management, quality assurance storage/retrieval including automatic stock transfer and quality assurance statistics (error rate, supplier assessment, etc).
