SPLITEX

Fully Automatic De-Palletizing Unit

SPLITEX

Layer by layer the fully automatic de-palletizing unit - SPLITEX - separates each package or carton from the pallet and delivers it to the automated conveyor system that feed the subsequent operations. The SPLITEX combines de-palletizing performance with the careful handling of the various types of products and packaging maintaining the highest product integrity at all times.

HIGH DE-PALLETIZING PERFORMANCE AND CAREFUL HANDLING

Each SKU is fully supported across its base surface throughout the entire process. This support prevents product damage and enables the system to handle the widest possible range of packaging materials.
The equipment separates 35 fully loaded pallets per hour and handles packages from 0.5 kg through to 35 kg and operates at a very low noise level.

HOW SPLITEX WORKS

Layer by layer a fully loaded pallet is split into single packages or cartons. A picking conveyor approaches the "gap" under the top layer of the pallet. The TGW grip-roller (patent pending) on the front end of the conveyor enters the "gap" and raises the first row of packages or SKUs and transfers the complete layer, row by row to the adjacent belt conveyor. The entire layer, is then transferred to the subsequent conveyor system before the grip-roller repositions below the next layer and continues the process until the required numbers of layers have been "split" from the pallet.
