Sales Project Manager

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for selling leading, industry-specific solutions for automated warehouses and distribution centres, including the following fields of responsibility.

1.Monitors the market in the assigned markets/industries to identify potential leads

2.Present TGW to potential leads in line with the company image (i.e. competence, experience, innovative solutions, high quality products and excellent life time service)

3.To assess and qualify sales leads for consideration by the Head of Sales TGW China when establishing sales priorities for the business using the agreed business processes and tools

4.To identify target accounts and develop binding relationships with decision makers and influencers at all levels

5.To lead presentation teams and to make formal presentations

6.To supervise and participate in the production of proposal documents and cost information

7.To ensure that proposal documents and all other written communication with clients are prepared to the agreed standard

8.To use relationships within target companies to gain ‘intelligence’ to enable the company to tailor its offering and time its approach to maximise the probability of securing contracts

9.Ensures a smooth handover of sold projects to realization as well as after sales service department

10.To report on competitors activity, products and pricing strategies

11.To attend and contribute to appropriate training and development activities

12.To contribute to the development of appropriate business strategies

13.To record information on CRM relating to enquiries, conversion, lost sales and other data relevant to the analysis of sales activity

14.To produce sales forecasts, progress reports and other reports in an agreed format

15.To organizes, participates, and contributes to marketing-related activities such as exhibitions, trade shows, reference visits etc.

16.Attend and contribute to appropriate training and development activities

  • 5 or more years material handling industry working experience
  • Strong communication ability
  • College or high level
  • Can work under high pressure
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Understand how to sell complex projects
  • Understand clients’ needs in warehouses and distribution centres
