Field Service Engineer
For TGW's service regions Germany-wide we are looking for committed customer service engineers who are ready to travel a lot. You will work with a team in optimally providing support for materials handling systems at our customers' sites, ensuring maximum system availability over the entire life cycle of the equipment.
TASKS
- On-site maintenance, inspection and repair work at our customers' sites
- Revitalisation of mechanical components at existing sites
- Handling of Hotline activities within the scope of on-call duty
- Key user and customer trainings
- Technical support for our Key Account Managers
- Documentation and advancement of service practices
- Responsibility for performance, schedule and costs
REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed apprenticeship in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant job experience in the service sector (preferably in the maintenance of fully automated installations)
- Independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as good communication skills
- Flexibility and customer orientation regarding stand-by and on-call duty as well as work in shifts
- High willingness to travel (90% of working time)
- Class B driver's license
- Aptitude test for G21, G25, G28 and G41
- Centre of one's life each within a radius of about 100 km to Dortmund (West) or 100 km to Stuttgart (South)
