Technical IT Support (m/f)

As Support Engineer IT, you will have an exciting position working in a team and being responsible for the technical support of our customers. Via remote maintenance, you will take care of malfunctions and ensure that the systems of our international customers function correctly. You will contribute to the highest possible system availability and support our customers by providing them with technical guidance.

TASKS

  • Handling of your first malfunction cases via the TGW ticket system during an intensive training period, guided by experienced colleagues

  • Independent analysis and handling of software errors via remote access after the training period

  • Conduction of advanced error analyses, logging and server monitoring in direct contact with the customer

  • Technical support and contact person for our customers worldwide

  • Follow-up and documentation of your activities

  • On-call service and shift work (attractive additional payment)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education in IT (HTL (Higher Technical College), vocational school or apprenticeship) or relevant job experience

  • Knowledge of the operating systems Linux, Windows and/or Windows Server

  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C#, .NET)

  • Experience with Oracle databases and SQL or PL/SQL of advantage

  • Very good command of German and English

  • High customer and service orientation as well as excellent ability to work in a team and communication skills
