Does this sound like you? If so, we’ve got a new opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join one of our client sites (a leading UK supermarket) based in Bulwell, Nottinghamshire.
You’ll get hands-on maintaining, servicing and improving the automated materials handling solution, which includes flat conveyors, spiralveyors, and high-speed storage a retrieval shuttles. No two days will be the same and you’ll have your mechanical, electrical and software skills called upon, whether it’s changing a broken roller or bearing on a conveyor, replacing a faulty three-phase motor, or working with third-party WMS providers to resolve software issues.
You will work alongside one other Technician and undergo training to develop your skills, such as learning how to troubleshoot Controls/PLCs and resolve faults on the Warehouse Management System. The shifts are 12 hours working 3:30-3:30 (3:30pm-3:30am & 3:30am-3:30pm) on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern.
You'll get a salary of £23,000-£28,000p.a. plus overtime.
