IT Service Engineer (m/f/d)

TGW Logistics Group as an international, fast growing company is one of the global players in the intralogistics industry. In order to further enable and continue our growth, we are looking for someone to strengthen our Support team in Marchtrenk.

In this exciting position, you will be working together with our Support department, patching and upgrading customer systems' servers, operating systems and databases. Your ongoing monitoring will allow you to offer services proactively and thus avoid unplanned standstills or impairment of systems. You will be in close communication with our customers, the Support team and the Key Account Managers, and will find the best solutions for our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

Creating technical concepts for patching and upgrading our customers' servers, operating systems and databases
Carrying out proactive IT services (patching, upgrades, restoration of backups, ...)
Documenting services performed and recommending actions for our customers
Improving systems and processes as well as providing support for internal projects

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Completed education in a technical field
Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and databases (Oracle) as well as network components
Experience with customer care and support of IT systems
Interest in and understanding of dependencies between different systems as well as customer-oriented behaviour

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 38,682 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpayment depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
