As the Lead Developer Software Controls you will be part of the product development department and working on creating and designing the SPS software landscape for our innovative product storage and material handling systems. You will be responsible for (partial) development projects, emphasising functionality, usability and stability of machine control systems. With your specialist knowledge and your knowledge of the industry, you will be contributing to the development of our mechatronic overall concept and ensuring a proactive knowledge transfer by means of product and user trainings.
Independent development and programming of controls software for our storage and material handling systems including the solution of problems, creation of concepts and detailed specification
Commissioning and testing of prototype software in test systems and on site at our customers' installations
Collaboration in developing the electro-mechanical overall concept
Continuous product improvement and management
Realisation of product and user trainings
On-site and remote support commissioning
Diligent product and process documentation
Completed education at University, University of Applied Sciences or Higher Technical College with focus on Automation Engineering
Several years of job experience, ideally in the field of controls/automation technology
Profound knowledge of control/drive technology as well as of the Siemens TIA Portal and the Simatic Manager
Excellent knowledge of SCL, IL, STL, LAD, FBD
Experience with high-level languages such as C++ or C#.net are of advantage
Good command of written and spoken English
Creative; independent, structured and responsible way of working

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 48.878 Euro.
