Materials engineer for metal (m/f/d)

After the successful integration and standardisation of available material, you will be our expert, closely collaborating with product development and actively contributing to the design of our products.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

• Central contact person for material definitions, material usage and material testing

• Responsible for defining and standardising the available materials in the SAP material master (material classes and characteristics)

• Analysing the material master with regard to material usage and material requirements

• Closely collaborating with the technical experts: sparring partner for supplier quality, purchasing, R&D and others

• Responsible for national and international projects such as country-specific material definitions and material usage

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Completed technical education (Higher Technical College or University/FH degree), ideally with a focus on materials engineering or metallurgy

• A passion for optimisation and standardisation

• Analytical and logical way of working

• Excellent command of written and spoken English

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 38,683 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpayment depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
