Product Manager Buyout Products (M/F/D)*

As a product manager you are responsible for material groups used for the realization of TGW's intralogistics projects. You actively participate in the purchasing process, in the strategic setup and further development of suppliers for the corresponding material groups, support the project teams in the realization process in the international environment and contribute significantly to the success of TGW with your attractive solutions.

  • Definition of technical material group specifications based on the requirements of intralogistics solutions

  • Preparation of specifications and product documents for the material groups as well as ensuring the correctness and completeness of the documents

  • Carrying out market and cost analyses for material groups in cooperation with purchasing

  • Participation in supplier audits

  • Carrying out risk assessments

  • Performing acceptance tests with suppliers and customers

  • Close coordination with internal departments such as global purchasing, project realization and local project management


  • Completed education in the field of mechatronics, automation/electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of intralogistic processes would be an advantage

  • Knowledge in the field of IT, mechatronics or process management

  • Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken) and very good handling of MS Office and SAP

  • Experience in the application of relevant technical standards (EN619, EN 528, ...) desirable

  • Willingness to travel (20-30%)

  • Strong negotiation skills, quality awareness, proactive and structured way of working as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting

In this position, you can expect the following benefits, among others.

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The collective agreement minimum basic salary per month (on a full-time basis plus shift allowance of at least 230 euro gross) is 42.054 Euro.
