In line with our foundation philosophy we would like to support young experts in their education. For this purpose, we initiated this scholarship programme four years ago. In the course of this scholarship, you will have the opportunity to gather valuable job experience and lay the foundation for a future career within the TGW Group before completing your degree.
In order to support you in your Master studies with expertise and finances, we will be awarding two scholarships to motivated and dedicated students of the Johannes Kepler University Linz and the FH Hagenberg with the following areas of studies from January 2021:
• Business Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Data Science and Engineering
• Artificial Intelligence
• Software Engineering
• Information Engineering and Management
• Economic and Business Analytics
The scholarship programme will have a duration of two years for the time period from 01/2021 to 12/2022 and will be ideally coordinated with your Master studies. This sideline, with flexible time management and a full-time internship over the course of the summer holidays, will enable you to gather important job experience in different areas focussing on Machine Learning and Data Analytics. You will be practically applying your university knowledge while at the same time giving important input to new findings and approaches.
Moreover, you will receive an attractive employer loan, permitting you financial security as a student. We also enable you to write your diploma or Master thesis as part of this scholarship.
Working with flexible time management for 12 hours a week, in areas such as Data Analytics, IoT & IIoT, Machine Learning & Cognitive Systems, Software Development or similar
Completing a one-month full-time internship during the summer holidays (per calendar year)
Mutual transfer of learning contents
Writing of a master's thesis with a topic relevant to TGW
Prospective Master's degree at JKU: in Business Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science , Artificial Intelligence or Economic and Business Analytics, starting winter semester 2020/21
For this part-time employment with flexible time management (12 working hours per week, approx. 750 working hours per calendar year), you will be receiving an annual gross pay of €15,000. Moreover, we will grant you an annual employer loan of € 10,000.
For the entire scholarship programme, this will amount to a total of € 50,000.
Apart from gaining valuable insights into the world of intralogistics and into an internationally leading system provider of highly dynamic and future-oriented logistics solutions, we offer you the opportunity to network with TGW experts. You will be introduced to specialised fields, supported in writing your Master/diploma thesis and receive an offer for steady employment after you have successfully completed your degree and if our collaboration was successful. After three years of full-time employment the granted loan is considered to be settled by TGW.
