Senior Industrial Engineer Logistics (m/f/d)

TGW Logistics Group as international, fast growing company is one of the global players in the intralogistics industry. In order to further enable and continue our growth, we are currently looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer in Logistics.

In this position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of internal logistics solutions and working closely together with our production and pre-assembly departments. You are greatly interested in projects that include a high degree of automation or IT and like to take responsibility for projects abroad? In this new position you will be working in a team and directly reporting to the Logistics Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

• Planning and implementing solutions for production site logistics (together with the logistics team of the production site and the suppliers)

• Developing, calculating and implementing new logistics solutions (in close collaboration with representatives of the production and pre-assembly departments)

• Implementing optimisation potentials in existing processes

• Evaluating existing methods, technologies and (IT-protected) tools to optimise and professionalise global logistics processes

• Taking on responsibility, also for projects abroad

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Completed technical education (University/University of Applied Sciences) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar

• At least 5 years of job experience in the management of complex logistical/technical projects

• Knowledge in automatic storage systems and production supply systems (e.g. AMR - Autonomous Mobile Robots)

• Good command of German and English

• Accurate as well as result-oriented and process-oriented way of working

• Willingness to travel abroad (up to 20% of working time)

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 51,907 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpayment depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
