As Strategic Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for the long-term selection and support of our suppliers and for selected material groups (drive technology, sensors etc.) You will conduct contract negotiations independently and will be responsible for a sustainable material group strategy by using your strategic vision and technical experience.
Responsibility for supplier management, e.g. supplier selection, risk assessment etc.
Continuous development of new and existing suppliers with respect to quality, adherence to delivery dates and costs
Negotiation of prices and terms with suppliers on your own responsibility as well as drafting of contracts
Autonomous development and extension of material group strategies
Consultation and close collaboration with the internal departments
Optimisation of ordering processes in collaboration with the entire purchasing team
Completed technical or commercial education
Relevant professional experience in the purchasing of technical equipment
(preferably electrical engineering/electronics)
Confident appearance and excellence in closing deals
Distinct social skills and structured way of working
Good command of written and spoken English
Willingness to travel internationally (about 15–20% of working time)

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 44,510 Euros. A possible overpayment depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
