Commissioning Engineer Controls

In-house software preparation and on-site commissioning of electro-mechanical equipment of automated material handling and storage systems at our the customers sites with regard to the requirements concerning schedule, budgets, performance, availability, quality and function applicable to the respective order.

What you’ll be handling

  • Support of the on-site manager / collaboration in on-site team
  • Interface test of superordinate MFS interface
  • Handover of a system tested and checked for correct functioning and availability
  • Filing and archiving of final software versions during and after the commissioning
  • Specific troubleshooting and repair visits
  • Minor changes at the electronic or mechanical installation

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering with 2 years of related industrial experience. Candidates without above-mentioned qualification but with more than 5 years industrial experiences also to be considered
  • Experiences with PLC programming with TIA Portal or Step 7 in FUP and AWL，SCL would be a plus
  • Practical experience with variable-speed drives (three-phase asynchronous + servo drives; frequency converters)
  • Work experience with bus systems (Ethernet, ProfiNet, ProfiBus, CAN and ASi)
  • Construction site and professional experience (material handling & logistics) desirable
  • Fluent in Chinese, good communication skills in English (reading/writing/talking)
