Finance Operations Manager

As the Finance Operations Manager you will ensure all finance processes are completed, on time and to a high standard. This covers payroll and expenses, time recording, purchase order processing, supplier invoices processing and payment, customers’ cash collection, external financial reporting and financial accounting tasks.


  • Co-ordinate the day to day activities of the team ensuring all tasks are carried out in an efficient manner.
  • Assist in the development and mentoring of team members, ensuring that they have a training and development plan in place.
  • Ensuring all invoices (both purchase & sales ledger) are posted in the relevant time period and allocated to payments for month end.
  • Month end duties such as time recording allocation, revenue recognition journals, accruals & prepayments.
  • Monthly & Quarterly VAT reporting 
  • Assist with the quarterly forecast and annual planning from a selling & admin perspective.
  • Play a vital role in the year end audit, providing required information to the auditors.
  • General administration and reporting duties depending on business needs and external requirements.


  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Previous experience in financial accounting & reporting 
  • Completed or working towards a finance qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA) preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Competent when working with IT systems ( Microsoft Excel)
  • Can work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics Navision experience preferred
