We have an opening for an entry-level instructional designer and content developer to join our technical training team.
This role will be responsible for developing technical E-learning content.
As part of this role, you will work closely with the Technical Training team, manage the Learning Management System, and support health and safety.
Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
Creating blended learning solutions
Using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programs (such as Articulate 360)
Preparing design Media – including imagery, animation, and video – using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
Editing and adding voiceover content and other audio to the courses using Articulate 360 or equivalent
Publishing, uploading, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting e-learning content on the LMS (E-front)
Provide exercises and feedback activities that enhance the learning process
Development of training portal
Conduct follow-up studies of all training to evaluate and measure results
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
Deploy a wide range of training methods (embracing new techniques)
Ensure that training material is aligned with group Standards.
Maintain suitable training records in a well-structured auditable manner
Supporting the distribution of content to internal and external customers
Be the master user of the E-front LMS system for the Northern Europe Hub
Take responsibility for organiszing meetings with Technical Trainers to agree on course content and requirements prior to course creation
Able to produce (with the support of the manager) policy documentation for consideration of the management team.
To take ownership of course creation and ensure compliance with requirements that are to be accredited by a governing body in the UK.
Assist/lead in creating PowerPoint presentations for the technical training department.
Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organizsation
Drive a culture of continuous professional development (CPD)
Be the training team’s point of contact for Omniplex Technical Support. (Articulate 360)
You may have recently completed a degree in a relevant field or have experience working in instructional design.
Ideally, you will have experience working with LMS, Adobe, articulate 360, and photoshop illustrator. You will be driven, and have the ability to work off your own initiative.
You strive for a challenge and enjoy working with people. Experience working in learning and development would be advantageous.
Previous experience in content design is essential.
