Instructional Design Apprentice

This is an opportunity to study learning and development, how to create content for training, and get an insight into what Technical training is. 

Working with a great team your apprenticeship will be across a three-year period, and your learning will be supported by an accredited college but distance learning for flexibility. You will actively be involved in the day-to-day duties of the technical training team.

Your apprenticeship will help you build a career as an instructional designer also known as a content developer.

Tasks

• Completing education plan 
• Creating technical training content
• working with the Technical Training team to understand the requirements
• A key user of the learning management system
• Supporting technical training team with administrative duties
• preparing supporting documentation for training 
• Actively driving your education

Requirements

You will be driven and passionate about Learning and development, you may have an interest in the world of engineering. 

You will enjoy being creative, but able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of the team.

You will be an excellent communicator. You will own your development. 

Ideally, you will have good computer skills and some experience of using packages like Adobe. 

You will need GCSEs of grade 4 and above for English and Maths.
