Maintenance Technician - Stichd site

We are looking for a Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stichd's site in Tilburg. Stichd is part of the PUMA Group. Headquartered in the Netherlands ('s-Hertogenbosch), they also have several sales offices in Europe, Asia and South America. The largest storage and distribution facility is located in the Netherlands (Tilburg). In early 2021, TGW started installing automation in the Stichd warehouse in Tilburg and is fully up and running nowadays. The FlashPick® system consists of a shuttle warehouse with five aisles and 20 levels, six PickCenter One picking workstations and two fully automated PickCenter Rovolution®. TGW Warehouse Software is responsible for controlling all processes and four kilometres of KingDrive® conveyors are used for energy-efficient transport. The Maintenance team, consisting of five TGW colleagues supports Stichd in the maintenance and servicing of the delivered equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

You will be responsible for detecting and resolving all electrical, mechanical and software faults on all TGW systems.
  • You are responsible for resolving all faults and, of course, for preventing them.
  • You therefore carry out a precise analysis to find out what caused the fault.
  • You also perform maintenance on the conveyor belts, for example, to replace a broken roller or bearing, detecting faults on the network and digital panels.
  • You represent TGW on site and you are therefore the business card for our customer. You therefore have an important role in maintaining a professional relationship.
You will work in a 2-shift operation from Monday to Friday. The 2-shift schedule is as follows;  6:00-14:30 and 14:00-22:30

What you'll need

  • You have a technical degree, e.g. automotive engineering, aeronautical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering at MBO level 2 minimum.
  • You already have practical knowledge and experience of performing service and maintenance on electrical or mechanical systems.
  • It is an advantage if, in addition to your mechanical knowledge, you are also familiar with Siemens S7/TIA portal and bus systems such as Can-bus and Profinet.
  • Being on the customer site, you have strong communication skills.
  • You enjoy working in a team and have a flexible attitude.
  • You are proactive, eager to learn and creative in coming up with solutions.
