We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Trainer to join our team, the Technical Trainer will be focused on Mechanical and Electrical training for our Lifetime services department, working with our sites across the UK and Europe.
Delivery of both Academy and local training courses
Collaborate with management to identify training needs for LTS teams Mechanically and Electrically with the aid of the skills matrix
Translate requirements into training material/sessions that will enable employees to be successful in their role
Schedule appropriate training sessions and maintain annual training plan
Plan and implement an effective training curriculum
Develop classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
Familiarise new hires to the business and deliver on-boarding training sessions
Plan and implement an effective training curriculum for non-Academy training
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of skills and techniques into employees work behaviour
Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
To be successful in your application, you will hold a qualification within Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
You will have previous experience of designing and delivering Technical training.
You will have previous experiences working within Materials handling.
As a person you will be proactive and have a passion for sharing knowledge, you will have a 'devil is in the detail' approach and be a proficient communicator.
