We have an opportunity for a hands-on Mobile services Team Leader, this role will play an essential part in the delivery of TGW services, assisting with the day-to-day management of the UK and Ireland mobile team, and the Test Cell team.
This position will predominantly be field-based, however, there will be regular travel to our Market Harborough offices.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to mentor and upskill apprentices and members of the team, sharing technical knowledge.
A key part of this role will be coordinating planned preventative maintenance and leading breakdowns.
Lead and help develop Apprentices and junior members of the team
Be actively engaged with Apprentices and junior team members training and development, ensuring one to one reviews and personal development plans are completed
Cooperate with all departments and assist in providing resources where required.
Ensure the teams are trained and kept up to date on Health & Safety Legislation and safe working procedures
To improve documentation and advise with risk assessments, safe working procedures, COSHH, and tool box talks used by the mobile services team
Build strong and long term relationships with all TGW teams
Stay up to date with the technical aspects of the TGW products, TGW Software, and IT infrastructure
Flexibility and willingness to travel within the TGW NE region
To promote health and safety, work in a safe manner and follow all Health & Safety requirements
To be pro-active, consider ways in which TGW can add more value
Help drive continuous improvement within the team
To provide effective feedback to TGW and the customer, including site meetings if required
Undertaking audits, reviews, and corrective action, as required
Ability to cover holidays for the Mobile Services Manager
Assist and help drive forward company initiatives
Monthly performance reviews with the Mobile Services Manager
Assist with the producing resource plans against the known and forecast projects to identify any over or under capacity expected
Promote and steer company standards and ensure best practice is being carried out on site.
Look for opportunities that can add value for the customer and create possible revenues for TGW
Represent the TGW image at all times and ensure that a professional relationship with all stakeholders is developed and maintained.
To be successful in your application you will have worked in a similar position leading a team, you will have extensive experience within Materials Handling Equipment, and be a self-motivated team player.
You will be a proficient communicator with the ability to influence and drive continuous improvement.
Ideally, you will be passionate about development and knowledge sharing.
