Sales Project Manager

(M/F/D)*

As a Sales Project Manager, you will play a key role in the management of Integrated Solution Sales within TGW’s Northern Hub, with specific focus on the UK market. This role plays a key part in the company’s ongoing strategic growth and realising its financial targets. This is an opportunity to join a successful company and a well-established and dynamic team.   The role of the Sales Project Manager is to develop key customer relationships through their nominated stakeholders whilst managing a multifaceted internal ‘Sales & Solutions’ (SAS) team for high-capital, integrated logistics projects. Ensuring our customer bids focus on tried and tested process and sales methodology is of paramount importance.   Working within specialist teams to develop industry-leading solutions whilst maintaining market competitiveness is a key component of the role. In the role you will also work closely with Heads of Process Consulting, Application Engineering, Solution Design and report to the Head of Sales for Northern Europe. The role is focussed on the UK and Ireland market primarily; however, it may require working on potential projects across TGW Northern Europe’s other regions, the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway) and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Supporting the Head of Business Development with focussed and targeted lead generation
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver order intake target as defined within the annual plan
  • Working with and leading a Solution Design / Bid Team
  • Preparation and ownership of ROM and fixed price offers using standard document suite templates
  • Preparation and joint delivery of presentations to prospective customer teams
  • Utilisation and deployment of sales methodologies e.g. Miller Heiman Strategic Selling
  • Managing your time and the time of others in this complex, high-paced B2B selling environment
  • Diligent administration of the proprietary Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
  • Regular status updates with the Head of Sales
  • Negotiation of high-capital projects and management the associated contracting process
  • Travel to new and existing customer premises and other TGW offices across Europe
  • To adopt and promote TGW’s culture and value set

What you'll need

  • Knowledge of the intralogistics industry and its key integration suppliers
  • Experience in logistics-based, integrated solution design or selling
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project tendering processes and project teams
  • Experienced in managing multiple project bids simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Engineering or technical degree qualified is preferred 
  • Sales and contract negotiation skills
