Simulation Engineer

In order to secure our success and continuous growth, we are looking for an employee to support our project team in the field of simulation. Are you looking for a challenging and diversified job? In this position, you will be you will be developing software and carry out simulation studies in an international team for our sales and realization projects and support a team of experts in finding solutions, selling and implementing highly automated material handling systems.

You will be working in our team in Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona), joining a community of experts developing customized software and digitalization solutions for intralogistics worldwide

Tasks

  • Implementation of simulation projects for the development, distribution and realization of our plants
  • Requirements analysis and creation of simulation concepts
  • Development of our high performance software systems, algorithms and tools with C#/.NET and AutoMod simulation software on project basis
  • Preparation and execution of simulation experiments
  • Independent analysis and presentation of simulation results

Requirements

  • Completed technical education in the field of Informatics, Mathematics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or Software Development
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (ideally in C#)
  • Knowledge and experience in one or several of the following fields:
  • Discrete Event Simulation (AutoMod, Plant Simulator or similar)
  • Material Flow Simulation
  • Material handling or supply chain management
  • Visual Studio
  • Excellent command of English (Spanish would be a plus)
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Profound communication skills and ability to work in a team
