Team Leader - Mascot

So working for TGW involves working closely with excellence and success. We are now recruiting for a Team Leader to join our team based on our customer site of MASCOT in Engesvang, Denmark. MASCOT maintains one of Europe’s largest stocks of workwear. Over 5 million products, divided among 30 000+ item numbers, are ready for dispatch. We have a very high delivery rate and offer day-to-day deliveries to Denmark and northern Germany, and typically within a few days to the rest of the world. MASCOT’s finished goods warehouse is a highly effective unit with goods receipt, quality control, packing and shipping. The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Resident Engineering team ( 2 Resident Engineers) and will maintain all TGW products and third party equipment inclusive of planned maintenance and breakdowns. The Team Leader will work in partnership with the whole site team and other LTS (Lifetime Services) departments to ensure the contractual availability targets are met or exceeded. Your working days will be rotating in the following pattern for 37 hours per week:
  • Monday - Thursday:  between 08:00 and 16:00.
  • Friday: between 08:00 and 14:00.
  • Saturday: every 2 weeks: between 07:00 and 14:00.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Resident Engineering team.
  • Using internal networks across LTS to support site performance, you will be able to identify improvements, and contribute to site success. 
  • You will be responsible for the reporting and monitoring, customer meetings, identifying successes, and opportunities to improve.
  • You will perform audits of site processes to ensure compliance, implementing audit follow-up actions to improve the site.
  • You will manage team resources to ensure contract performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve daily working practices to improve quality and performance. 
  • Conduct regular 121's to support team development and performance.
  • Co-ordinate all maintenance activities, planned repairs and reactive repairs of the automated equipment on site.
  • Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency.

What you'll need

  • You have an engineering qualification.
  • You have previous experience working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment.
  • You are experienced in leading a team or coaching and mentoring team members.
  • You have working knowledge of Siemens S7, Profibus, Canbus, Profinet and ASI Bus
  • You have the ability to work in a time-critical environment.
  • You have knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • You are experienced in managing customer/stakeholder relationships.
  • You are flexible to work on Saturday's every 2 weeks. ( Compensated with a next Monday day off)
