Technical Cleaner

(M/F/D)*

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody who has an interest in engineering, mechanics, machinery, automation or electronics to join one our resident teams based at our clients site in Peterborough.  As the Technical Cleaner you will be responsible for the cleanliness, basic maintenance and performance monitoring of the third party automated machinery on site.  Experience in a similar role is preferred but training will be provided.  This is mainly a Monday - Friday days based role but some flexibility will be required to suit operational demands.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Cleaning third party equipment including lidding machines, carton erectors and bagging machinery 
  • Check set up and configurations 
  • Monitor machine performance and report any defects to engineering teams 
  • Carry out planned cleaning and other scheduled tasks 
  • Adhere to health and safety processes 
  • Other general site and workspace cleaning tasks 

What you'll need

  • Previous experience operating machinery with an understanding of the benefits of machine hygiene/cleanliness is desired 
  • Keen interest in mechanics, machinery, automated equipment etc 
  • Experience in technical cleaning preferred but not essential 
  • Flexible with availability to working hours to suit operational demands 
  • Able to manage time effectively
