Assisting Head of Facility Management (m/f)

In this responsible position, you will be the right-hand person to our Facility Manager and therefore in charge of ongoing building management and maintenance. Apart from fire prevention and other inspections, you will be in charge of exciting new construction, renovation or maintenance and process optimisation projects. Because of your structured, result-driven way of working and your hands-on mentality, you are well suited for our team.

TASKS

  • Execution of tasks as a representative of the Facility Manager in Wels and/or Marchtrenk as well as temporary leadership of employees and distribution of resources

  • Carrying out fire protection activities such as regular inspections and checks as well as sprinkler tests

  • Coordination and checks of maintenance and repairs

  • Implementation and verification of compliance with official requirements

  • Close cooperation with our internal Facility & Safety Team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed apprenticeship or HTL for electrical engineering, HVAC or fitting

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in facility management

  • Fire protection officer and fire alarm system training; forklift truck and crane operator license

  • Safety officer, knowledge of smoke and heat extraction systems and waste manager training are an advantage

  • High degree of self-responsibility and willingness to work in a team, time flexibility in case of malfunctions and/or renovations
