Design Engineer (m/f)

In this position as design engineer you will be responsible for the adaptation of our standard product range to the customers' requirements and for the new design of special solutions. You will be closely collaborating with our project management, production as well as product development departments and you will ensure thorough concept and construction designs of mechatronic devices adapted to the customers' wishes. With your love for details and your analytical way of thinking you are contributing to the successful implementation of our projects. You will be extensively trained by your team during your first time.

TASKS

  • Design of mechatronic devices adapted to the individual customer requirements (new and adapted designs)

  • Technical calculations, dimensioning of the components and creation of parts lists

  • Preparation of data sheets, product documentation and installation documents based on templates

  • Continuous coordination with our product management department and collaboration with our product development and production departments

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed apprenticeship (design engineering), vocational school or HTL (Higher Technical College; in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Civil Engineering)

  • First professional experience of advantage, ideally in the field of design engineering

  • Good knowledge of 2D and 3D design engineering and MS Office

  • Good command of written and spoken English, willingness to travel (about 10% of working time)

  • Ability to work in a team, creative personality, independent and accurate way of working
