Field Service Engineer - Focus on mechatronics

In this job you will provide optimum support of our intra-logistics-solutions on site and thus guarantee the highest possible availability of our customers' installations during the whole Lifecycle.


  • On-site maintenance, inspection and repair work of electro-mechanical equipments
  • Technical telephone support (1st and 2nd Level) for Key Account Managers and customers
  • Key user and customer trainings
  • Documentation and advancement of service practices
  • Responsibility for performance, schedule and costs


  • Successfully completed technical education in Mechatronical or Controls Engineering (school or apprenticeship)
  • Job experience in PLC programming (S7), in handling bus systems (Profibus, ASI) as well as regulated drivers
  • Relevant job experience in the service sector (preferably of fully automated installations)
  • Independent and solution-oriented method of working as well as stress resistance
  • Flexibility and customer orientation regarding stand-by and on-call duty as well as work in shifts
  • Willingness to travel worldwide to an extent of 90% of the working time
  • Class B driver's licence and fitness to work at heights of up to 20 m
  • Good communication skills in German and English
