Process Engineer - Installation (f/m)

Material handling systems are highly complex. Many machines and processes are running simultaneously and interact automatically, facilitating an efficient material flow within a warehouse. In order to further optimise the installation processes of our construction sites, we are looking for a process engineer who is committed, has an open-minded personality and can start as soon as possible. In this position, you will analyse and shape the installation processes and corresponding interfaces – independently as well as together with the members of your team.

TASKS

  • Evaluation of existing processes in the field of installation

  • Adoption of a best practice approach (internal/external)

  • Continuous improvement of the installation processes and times

  • Continuous improvement of the products: interface and contact person for the product development

  • Analysis and correction of errors

  • Optimisation of the condition of the devices and products delivered from the production site: interface and contact person for the preceding processes

  • Implementation of measures and new processes, incl. revision of their efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed technical education with degree (technical university, university of applied sciences,...)

  • First job experience in a similar position desirable

  • Knowledge of writing academic papers

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, perhaps Visio)

  • Good German and English language skills

  • Willingness to travel abroad (about 10% of working time)

  • Independent, structured and responsible way of working

  • Personal initiative, solution-oriented approach and organisational skills

  • Analytical way of working
