Senior Purchasing Agent (m/f)

In this challenging position, you will be a part of our international sales team and participate in the design of tailor-made system solutions for our international customers. With your strong communication skills, you will be responsible for processing international tenders and preparing technical specifications for outstanding material handling concepts. As an experienced employee, you will support our sales team as a mentor and hugely contribute to the further development of our sales processes with your expertise.

TASKS

 
  • Technical support for our sales department as well as customers in finding solutions for complex material handling systems

  • Support of the sales team in calculating system and component performance rates

  • Handling of entire projects in the sales phase (layout, cost analysis, preparation of quotes)

  • Presentation of quotes at the customer's site as well as clarification of final customer-specific requirements

  • Assistance in the further development of internal processes by continuous internal exchange of experiences and coaching of colleagues

REQUIREMENTS

 
  • Foreman, HTL (Higher Technical College) in technology, sales or similar
  • CAD skills (preferably AutoCAD) as well as mechatronical expertise advantageous
  • Relevant job experience in applications engineering or key account management at an (international) logistics company
  • Very good command of English as well as enjoyment of working internationally
  • Good communication skills, flexibility, customer orientation and technical finesse
