Project Controller

The Project Controller plays a leading role in conception and execution of planning and controlling in order to provide required information for the management to run the business.

Based on his/her expertise in finance, controlling and system technical processes the Project Controller acts as internal coach for all departments of the entity.

Performance Indicator & Contribution to Company Success

  • Realtime, correct and comprehensible preparation and format of data and information
  • Planning quality in terms of validity of plans and forecasts
  • Providing the required information for management by evaluation and analysis of the projects enabling them to reach the targets
  • Enabling management to set target focused measures by realtime, valid and correct financial information

Tasks

  • Monitoring of project progress (timeline, costs)
  • Evaluation of project risks
  • Productivity analysis
  • Monthly project controlling meetings and reporting
  • Details analysis (e.g. per project, per segment, per portfolio)
  • Implementation of project controlling tools and further developing those
  • Monthly Reporting incl. analysis of deviations from plan
  • Annual Planning and quarterly Forecasting
  • Preparation of details analysis as well as ad-hoc analysis for managers oft he unit
  • Further development of key performance indicators and measuring systems
  • HUB-Reporting (consolidated information such as OI, EBIT, esp. TAP-sheets)
  • Coach and reference person for project managers and cost center managers in the unit
  • Implementation of unique standards for reporting, controlling & Accounting)
  • Interface and reference person for the controlling dptm. of the HUB leading entity

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics (Bachelor or Master)
  • Experienced in using Controlling-Tools
  • IFRS-knowledge
  • Experienced in working with ERP systems (ideal: Navision, SAP) and Excel
  • Basic technical knowledge
  • Highly self motivated, konsequente und zielorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Persistent, empathic, responsible, autonomous and resistant to stress
  • Flexible time occupany
  • Min. 3 years of experience in finance/controlling
  • Fluency in English
