TGW Logistics Group as an international, fast-growing company is one of the global players in the intralogistics industry. In this function, you will report directly to the head of department and will be the central point of contact when it comes to safety as well as standards, laws and regulations concerning our machines and mechatronic products as well as the entire customer installation. You will first analyse the current situation from Wels and will then be responsible for the group-wide harmonisation of the processes and tools required and share your expert knowledge with your colleagues as an in-house trainer.
Ensuring product/machine/installation safety – on site and during operation of the system.
Participation in risk assessment of development and customer projects including documentation
Checking the safety functions of machines (Safexpert, residual risk analysis, performance level)
Development and harmonisation of and ensuring compliance with relevant international standards, guidelines and laws (UL, CCC, MRL etc.)
Execution of internal audits concerning product, installation and construction site safety
Contact person for external authorities
Completed higher technical education (Higher Technical College HTL and/or university or FH)
At least 3 years of job experience in safety & regulatory matters in an industrial environment
Knowledge of safety processes and tools mandatory
Good command of written and spoken English
Willingness to travel (about 10% of working time)
Good analytical skills, planning and organisational skills
The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 37,856 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpay depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
