As Hardware Developer Controls you will be part of the mechatronic product development team for hardware planning and therefore for the incorporation of innovative controls solutions for our standard products. You will work closely with the development team in defining the electrical equipment of our fully automated distribution centres and take care of the mock-up installation. Once you have successfully completed you training period, you will assume full responsibility for specific products.
Developing aspects of electric equipment for new products (control cabinets, cabling concepts, etc.)
Conceptual design and definition of our electrical products for electromechanical products in the standard module system
Creation of entire circuit diagrams and schematic diagrams in EPLAN P8 under consideration of relevant standards and safety standards
Selecting devices and components as well as technical specifications of special components
Executing safety evaluations and mock ups at the in-house test centre
Documenting test results
Supporting new developments as well as ongoing product improvements and product management
Collaboration in developing the electro-mechanical overall concept
Completed education (Higher Technical College, University of Applied Sciences, University) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
Several years of job experience in hardware planning desirable
Interdisciplinary technical knowledge with respect to controls and electrical engineering, PLC and drive technology desirable
Experienced in working with EPLAN P8, excellent MS Office knowledge
Good command of written and spoken German and English
Analytic and solution-oriented thinking as well as structured and precise way of working
Strong sense of responsibility and high ability to work in a team
Participation in an agile development team, latitude, clear objectives and regular feedback

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 42.256 Euro.
