Solutions Designer m/f/d

TGW Logistics Group as an international, fast-growing company is one of the global players in the intralogistics industry. For our customers in the core industries of Fashion & Textile, Grocery and Industrial & Consumer Goods, we plan and implement highly automated solutions. As systems integrator, we are in charge of planning, manufacturing, realising and maintaining distribution centres – including not only electro-mechanical equipment and robotics, but also controls and software.

As a developer of system solutions and a member of our development department, you will concentrate on one specific market segment and design standardised system solutions. In so doing, you will work in close collaboration with our systems management and base the solutions on defined market requirements as well as profitability analyses. Thus, you will produce an economically and technically sophisticated intra-logistics solution and in particular ensure its reusability. Additionally, you will use your expertise to support the sales activities of our decentralised units.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

• Analysis of customer-specific intralogistics requirements

• Identification and optimisation of customer-relevant processes

• Consideration of competition and market analyses for creating tailor-made logistics solutions

• Further development of existing system solutions in coordination with our systems management

• Close collaboration with the Sales department during the concept development phase

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Completed degree in mechatronics, informatics, industrial engineering or similar

• Job experience of advantage, ideally in plant construction and combined with profound methodological knowledge

• Excellent command of written and spoken English (international team)

• Independent, structured and responsible way of working

• Customer- and solution-oriented as well as assertive personality

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 44,576.00 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpayment depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
