Structural Engineer Steelwork (m/f/d)

Our company, with its headquarters in Marchtrenk and subsidiaries in Europe, America and Asia, develops and implements high-end material handling solutions worldwide.

As a structural engineer, you will be a member of our steelwork team and responsible for making structural and steelwork calculations. You will check the technical properties of materials and system components and you will be the in-house contact for all structural matters. With your meticulousness and your solution-oriented way of working, you will make a major contribution to the conceptual design of our high-bay warehouses.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

• Independent realisation of dynamic and static calculations for our high-bay warehouses in accordance with legal standards

• Creation of structural analysis concepts for special constructions in steelwork and plant engineering

• Creation of certificates and testable documents as well as assistance during the realisation process

• Main contact for all steelwork and structural engineering questions

• Participation in research and development projects including material and components testing

• Technical documentation and continuous contact to project managers and internal service providers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Completed education (HTL/University/FH) with focus on Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or similar

• First job experience in structural engineering desirable

• Profound knowledge of design and calculation programs (AutoCAD, SCIA, RStab ...)

• Independent and structured personality

• Team player, commitment to quality and analytical thinking

• Good command of written and spoken English

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 38,397 Euros according to the collective agreement. A possible overpayment depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
