As Technical Editor you will strengthen our Documentation, Safety & Regulations team and be responsible for the creation and adaptation of technical documentation in the area of project realization. WHAT YOU MOVE WITH US
- Preparation of technical documentation, in particular manuals and operating instructions (incl. assembly instructions) for users and service technicians, taking into account defined requirements
- Creation of maintenance, modification and repair instructions in cooperation with our realization teams
- Coordination with involved departments
- Timely provision of documents
- Distribution, management and archiving of documents
- Translation management (coordination of translation by service providers)
- Participation in development projects / creation of product documentation
WHAT CONVINCES US
- Successfully completed training as a technical writer or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibility
- Good technical understanding
- Very good language skills in German, further language skills would be an advantage
- Distinct organizational and communication skills, as well as a very structured and careful way of working
- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially MS Word
- Knowledge of 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) is an advantage
