IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician will provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action. This role is also central in new user set-up of IT-related applications/devices. This person will report to the IT Manager.


  1. Provide technical assistance related to computer systems, software, and hardware; both in person and in writing.
  2. Install, change and repair the users hardware and software.
  3. Create accounts and give correct access for new employees. 
  4. Perform active directory maintenance tasks.
  5. Perform recurring maintenance and performance monitoring of computer systems.
  6. Develop training documents for users to understand all technical equipment. 
  7. Purchase and handle supplies, software, and hardware.


  1. Associates degree in computer science and/or relevant IT experience
  2. Extensive knowledge of Windows Desktop operating systems
  3. Windows Server experience preferred
  4. Basic knowledge of AD, GPO, NTFS permissions, and DC configuration is required
  5. Experience in ERP systems a plus
