Manager of Controls Project Management and Installation


The Manager of Controls Project Management and Installation will lead a team of Controls Project Manager and the Electrical Site Supervisors. The proper success of the controls installation and implementation will come from direct alignment from this role, with looking after efficiencies and trust of the team.

What you’ll be handling

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of a team of Controls Project Manager and E- Installation Supervisor to ensure effectiveness, efficiencies, and quality of all work being performed on and off site.
  • Identifying, estimating, and mitigating risk for special implementations (i.e., prototypes) 
  • Collaborating with and providing feedback to other departments in the implementation process (controls development, product management, etc.)
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for new hires and existing staff.
  • Ensure all projects meeting  required company and customer standards.
  • Input on department budgeting and expenditures

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical systems experience
  • Strong understanding of Electro Installation and Controls Engineering
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • System level working knowledge of PLC Controls and Software Engineering.
  • Basic understanding for Industrial Communication Protocol (ProfiNet, Ethernet IP, etc…)
  • Ability to read and understand CAD and electrical drawings
  • Ability to travel 20-50% of the time
