Senior Solution Designer

• Meets with high profile clients to initially understand their business profile, spending time with the operational teams to understand current workflows and future client needs.
• Prepares technical content of proposals such as schedules, equipment lists, functional description of operation, installation requirements, basis of quotations, specification clarification, and pricing.
• Plans, schedules, and coordinates the detailed activities of the quotation work; gains a complete understanding of the quotation requirements including data analysis, material flow, information flow, equipment selection, system layout and performance criteria.
• Prepares high quality presentation packs to present to a client, demonstrating analysis used and rationale for equipment selected to gain approval for the bid proposal
• Utilizes and understands TGW Core Technologies CD, TGW Technical Application Bulletins, Blueprints, CAD drawings and exchange this information with TGW associates and customers.
• Trains team members on systems design and product portfolio

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• Minimum seven years of material handling system design experience
• Advanced abilities in Excel, Access, MSWord, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with MS Project, AutoCAD
• Occasional domestic and international travel for training and customer support
• Prior experience leading small teams of engineers and draftsmen preferred
