Strategic Buyer (M/F/D)*

We’re now looking for a Strategic Buyer to join our Global Purchasing team and take ownership of procurement activities for one of our key global customers. This is a varied and hands-on role, working closely with sales and project teams to ensure suppliers, contracts, and materials are in place to support successful project delivery.

What you'll be handling:
- Managing customer-specific suppliers to ensure capacity, quality, and performance
- Forecasting and planning supplier capacity in line with project timelines
- Negotiating framework agreements and project-specific contracts
- Acting as the main procurement contact throughout the full project lifecycle
- Supporting supplier development and contributing to sustainability targets
- Helping optimise procurement processes and reporting against supply chain and cost-saving goals
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in a commercial purchasing or buyer role
- A degree in a technical or commercial field is preferred
- Ideally qualified CIPS or another recognised procurement qualification (or working towards it)
- A proactive, structured way of working with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work across functions and cultures with confidence and professionalism
- Fluent in English (Dutch or German language would be an advantage)
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 60% of the time
