Senior Embedded Software Developer (C++ / Linux) for High-Performance Shuttle Systems (M/F/D)*
Take technical ownership of key software components within our autonomous Stingray shuttle systems. In this role, you will help shape architectural decisions, drive technical excellence across the team, and develop modern C++17/20 software for Linux-based embedded systems. Your work goes beyond coding: you will interact directly with the physical shuttle systems, analyze system behavior, debug software in conjunction with hardware, sensors, and actuators, and contribute to ensuring the reliable operation of our high-performance shuttles in demanding industrial environments.

Vos missions:
- Take responsibility for the architecture, design, and continuous evolution of core embedded software components in C++17/20 for Linux-based high-performance shuttle systems, leveraging a modern technology stack including Docker and RTOS components
- Analyze, debug, and optimize system behavior directly on the shuttle, considering the interaction between software, operating systems, hardware, sensors, actuators, and mechanical components
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated testing strategies (Unit Tests, HIL, SIL), including in-depth analysis and interpretation of test results
- Identify optimization opportunities and develop sustainable, long-term technical solution concepts
- Provide technical mentoring to software engineers and support design reviews, architectural decision-making, and the resolution of complex technical challenges within agile product development projects
Profil recherché:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience developing complex embedded systems using modern C++17/20, including software architecture and system design
- Proven experience in architectural decision-making, refactoring large-scale software systems, and the long-term evolution of technical platforms
- Strong ability to systematically analyze technical challenges involving software, operating systems, and hardware interactions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a structured, independent working style and a strong commitment to quality
- Excellent English or German communication skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 55.772 Euro.
