Assembly manager - steel construction & shelf assembly (M/F/D)*
You coordinate the assembly of our steel structures / shelving systems directly on international construction sites with a focus on Europe. After your induction at the Wels site and practical training directly on a construction site with an experienced team, you will gradually take over responsibility for the set-up on site. You will actively support the assembly process, carry out adjustment work and accompany mechanical commissioning (IBN). We are looking for experienced technicians with practical experience in steel construction and enjoyment of complex assembly projects.
What you'll be handling:
- Management and support of subcontractors (all-inclusive and directed installations)
- Ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines in the assembly of steel construction and shelving systems
- Technical management of the assembly team on site
- Assessment of construction sites with regard to occupational safety
- Communication with customers and general contractors
- Close coordination with project management and design
- Support for final assembly and mechanical commissioning (IBN)
What you'll need:
- Completed technical training (e.g. steel construction, mechanical engineering, mechatronics)
- At least 2 years of professional experience in steel construction or industrial plant construction
- Basic knowledge of electrical and control technology is an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally and good knowledge of English, other language skills generally desirable
- Confident handling of MS Office and ideally AutoCAD
- Driver's license B required, forklift license is an advantage
- Hands-on mentality and independent, solution-oriented way of working with a high level of personal responsibility

In this position, you can expect the following benefits, among others.
We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 47.547 Euro. Expenses and allowances are paid additionally depending on the extent of travelling.
