Innovation Funding Manager (M/F/D)*
Shape the future of intralogistics with TGW Logistics. In the innovation department, you will drive forward new technologies and projects through the targeted use of funding programs and the establishment of strategic partnerships. As the interface between internal experts, research partners, and funding agencies, you will build structures, secure external resources, and shape how TGW Logistics drives innovation forward in a sustainable manner.
What you'll be handling:
- Identification and analysis of suitable national and international funding programs in line with our innovation strategy
- Collaboration with strategically relevant partners, such as universities/technical colleges, technology partners
- Establishment and management of international funding consortia and active participation in the TGW innovation ecosystem, e.g. through co-creation formats, industry networks and external partnerships
- Development, submission, and coordination of funding applications—from internal coordination to collaboration with external research partners
- Ensuring administrative processing, reporting and compliance with all funding requirements
- Coordinating and optimizing annual submissions for the Austrian Research Premium
- Serving as the central contact person for funding issues and internal consulting/training
- Screening innovation projects and (further) developing them into eligible concepts
- Defining and reporting key figures and continuously measuring funding success
What you'll need:
- Completed degree in economics, finance, innovation or technology
- Several years of experience in funding management (national and international, including FFG research grants and EU programs)
- Very good knowledge of the funding landscape (Austria and EU)
- Strong communication skills in German and English, persuasive in writing German-language applications
- Experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Technically savvy and interested in new technologies and trends
- Analytical, detail-oriented and compliant
- Independent, proactive, and structured
