Product Manager Control Technology (M/F/D)*

As a product manager for control technology, you will work with a specialized team to take responsibility for the technologies used and those to be used in the future in the OT environment of TGW Logistics' scope of delivery. 


You will act as an interface between the market, technology suppliers, our development department, and the implementation departments.
You will translate our corporate strategy into technical solutions, thereby actively helping to shape the scope of delivery of tomorrow.

What you'll be handling:

  • Your contribution will ensure that our automation solutions and sales options in the OT sector remain future-proof, scalable, and secure.
  • You will work with the development department to further develop the architectural principles of our modular system for intralogistics systems.
  • You will evaluate and select suitable technologies and suppliers.
  • You will support the sales team with technical issues and derive evaluation and development projects from market requirements.
  • You will accompany products, sales options, and architectures throughout the entire product life cycle.

What you'll need:

  • Completed degree (university/university of applied sciences) in mechatronics, automation technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field

  • Several years of professional experience (5–10 years) in plant and/or mechanical engineering and in one of the above-mentioned fields required

  • In-depth understanding of complex technical systems and system architectures

  • Very good knowledge in several of the following areas:

    • Control, network, safety, drive, and visualization technology

    • Electrical engineering and standards in mechanical and plant engineering (IEC/UL)

    • OT network architectures and industrial communication systems

    • Strong communication skills in German and English as well as a high degree of assertiveness

We offer an attractive and market-competitive salary, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross base salary according to the collective agreement, based on full-time employment, is €54,730 per year.
