Site Integration Test Specialist (M/F/D)*

As the Site Integration Test Specialist you will be responsible for managing all testing of the mechanical and functional aspects of the design solution.

You will be involved in a project from the early stages of commissioning (dependent on the customer) through to delivery of the solution to the client. You will drive to completion all aspects of a solution related to functionality or performance. 

This is a client facing role that requires a strong technical understanding of the solution and the ability to manage the client and their expectations.

What you'll be handling:

  • Management and coordination of the multi-disciplined on-site team and anyone that is supporting that team  
  • Responsible for on-site resource planning and process and procedures with the team 
  • Provide daily reporting to the project manager 
  • Conducting client witnessed testing of the solution 
  • Manage the on-site integrated commissioning of the IT solution including functional and volume testing
  • Liaise with the controls team to perform function and system rate checks 
  • Audit the stress testing of systems 
  • Provide on-site equipment and functionality training to client personnel from Operations and Managerial staff to first time users 
  • Managing client SAT (TOC) including Functionality, Soak and Throughput tests Go Live
  • Manage the Operational Readiness (business integration) Testing from TGW’s point of view 
  • Act as escalation liaison if necessary of issues as and when they arrive
  • Collate lessons learned, ensuring that these are cascaded to the correct team to prevent future re-occurrence 

What you'll need:

Essential 

  • Proven track record of delivering technical projects ideally within automation or intralogistics 
  • Broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering 
  • Strong leadership, client management and organisational skills
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home regularly

Desirable

  • Qualified in engineering, mechatronics or similar 
  • Experience commissioning and testing of automation solutions
