Control Cabinets as the Heart of Modern Systems
Whether in pallet conveyor technology or storage and retrieval machines, control cabinets act as the central nervous system of our systems. They house controllers, regulation units, and a wide range of cables. To ensure a structured and efficient assembly process, operating equipment labels are applied to the mounting plates.
Previously: Time-consuming manual labeling
Until now, these labels were applied manually. Our employees attached each label by hand at the positions defined in the engineering plan software (E-Plan). It was a labor-intensive, ergonomically challenging, and error-prone process. In addition, labels could not always be positioned with perfect accuracy.
Now: Direct printing onto the mounting plate
The long-standing industry practice of manual labeling has reached its end. Instead, we now print operating equipment identification directly onto the mounting plates. A large-format flatbed printer with UV-curable ink enables crisp, durable markings and maximum flexibility.

More Information and Higher Quality
Our new solution enables us not only to include the usual identification data, but also to print additional useful information:
- Material numbers
- Bill of materials (BOM) numbers
- QR code linking directly to the corresponding position in the E-Plan
Furthermore, the contours of all installed components are now printed at a 1:1 scale on the mounting plate, allowing for a visual check that significantly enhances quality.
