Central Services Manager (M/F/D)*

The Central Services Manager reports to the Director of Lifetime Services and manages the Central Services Team, composed of technical resources such as Field Services, Continuous Improvement, and Training.  The Central Services Team supports the entire Lifetime Services function and contributes to overall LTS growth by delivering sales through its technical teams.

What you’ll be handling

  • Oversees all Central Services operations, including the activities of Field Services, Continuous Improvement, and Training.

  • Allocates technical resources effectively to meet service demands internally (within TGW) and externally (at TGW customers) in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborates with internal departments to identify and forecast service needs (e.g. training needs, continuous improvement needs, etc.) and develops and implements plans to meet such needs

  • Develops and manages budgets for Central Services teams and prepares monthly / quarterly / yearly reports as required.

  • Partners with Technical Sales team to develop and deliver targeted sales campaigns to meet strategic sales goals.

  • Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and identify opportunities to enhance Central Services operations and creates and executes strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery.

 

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience required.
  • Several years of experience in engineering management or resource management/planning roles.
  • Up to 50% domestic and international travel as required.
  • Prior experience in material-handling industry with in-depth technical knowledge of automation equipment preferred.

  • Experience supporting technical sales preferred.

  • Project management and cost management experience preferred.
