Data Engineer (M/F/D)*
We are looking for a Data Engineer (m/f/d) who shares our vision of connected, intelligent intralogistics. You work on a new central data platform that forms the backbone of our digital future: This is where plant data from gateways and streaming jobs converge and are transformed into valuable insights and data products that enable innovation, efficiency, and new business models. Become part of our team at our German locations in Regensburg or Teunz or at our Austrian locations in Marchtrenk or Wels.
What you'll be handling:
- You develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, set up and maintain data lakes, and integrate heterogeneous data sources.
- You implement and document data models, transform them using the dbt framework, and work with the Databricks platform and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and security, including performance optimization, is also part of your responsibilities.
- You work with data analysts to provide usable data, monitor and maintain data pipelines, and troubleshoot errors.
What you'll need:
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- In addition, you have experience with ETL processes, very good knowledge of SQL, and experience with Git for version control.
- Experience in programming with Python/Scala (PySpark), CI/CD, and automation, as well as knowledge of dbt Framework, Databricks, Azure Synapse, and data lake architectures, would be an advantage.
- Analytical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to work independently round out your personality.
